It’s October and Fall Shows Are in Full Swing!

It was a quiet summer of gardening and visiting friends — and of course, making new art in the studio. Now, it’s GO time, and the shows are here!

Next show on October 4th is Art on the Avenue, in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria, 10 - 6. Find me in Booth W211.

October 11-12 is the Crozet Arts and Crafts Festival in Crozet VA, near Charlottsville, 10-5 both days.

October 18-19: My Favorite Show of the Fall: the Ch/Art Art Walk!

Visit 37 homes and see the work of 87 local artists! Noon to 5 on October 18-19th. Click on the image above to see the map of all the sites and artists. This is a lovely opportunity to visit with neighbors and meet local artists you didn’t even know about!

Workshops

Don’t just buy glass art and jewelry from me — make your own! (I mean, DO buy from me, but don’t stop there!) In my Jewelry Workshop, you will make 2 pieces of jewelry, choosing between earrings, pendant, ring bracelet and brooch. In my Plate Workshops you will make a round or square plate or 2 sun catchers. In both workshops you will learn the many types of glass, how it behaves and melts, and how to cut and shape it.
