I am feeling grateful as I prepare to enter into the holiday season. I love making art, and I appreciate that so many of you choose to do your holiday shopping at a small local business like Joy of Glass.

The next opportunity to come visit Joy of Glass is a small show — I will be at the Chevy Chase Farmers Market at Lafayette School this Saturday the 29th. Come between 9 and 1 to 5701 Broad Branch St NW DC. I will have jewelry and glass art.

After that, I enter the big time, first at the McLean Holiday Arts and Crafts Festival on December 5, 6 and 7. The show is at the McLean Community Center,1234 Ingleside Ave. McLean, VA. Find me in Booth 21 on the first floor.

Starting on December 8th, I will settle in at the Downtown Holiday Market on F St NW DC. I will be at the Holiday Market every day through December 23rd. The Market is in front of the Portrait Gallery and, conveniently, right next to the Verizon Center metro station. Hours are Monday through Thursday noon to 8 PM, Friday and Saturday 11 to 9 PM, and Sunday 11 to 8 PM. This is a very fun market, with live music, cocktails and the best hot chocolate in the universe. And, of course, the gifts — from artisanal spices to clothing to Joy of Glass’ unique fine jewelry and glass art.
